Ricky scored 4+1 as Wolves bagged an unlikely 48-42 away win at Poole.

A last place in his opening ride was followed by a third place behind team-mate Adam Skornicki and another third place in heat 10 - although this time on the wrong end of a 5-1.

Yet with the meeting going right to the death Wells occupied a pivotal second place behind World Champion Chris Holder in heat 12 to ensure Wolves remained in the lead.
